Rockin' Ruby's Records began life as a mobile music van roaming breweries, restaurants, and festivals around the west of Puget Sound here in Washington State.
We opened our first brick and mortar record store in Poulsbo in April 2023 and are excited to add another on Bainbridge Island in March of 2025 - just in time for Record Store Day...
Ruby's buys and sells thousands of new and used records on vinyl, CD, and tape, alongside guitars, amps, turntables and gear, plus t-shirts, merch and more. We also buy and sell two kinds of books: Banned books (the tools of the revolution) and band books (stories from the revolution).

Playing the stage at The Ravine
We are looking for singer/songwriter acts to perform at The Ravine stage on Bainbridge Island that have merchandise available.
On weekends in the summer, we can get upwards of 2000-3000 people walking right past the stage off the ferry from Seattle. Many are tourists that have an extra day to spend on Bainbridge, and they love the idea of picking up a local souvenir of the active music scene in western Washington.
Rockin Rubys has two locations, and would love to stock your CD or vinyl! We don’t take a penny of your money outside of tax collected and reimbursement for expenses (when we ring up your material the government counts it as income).
PLUS, if you play the stage on Bainbridge, you can add your band sticker to the exclusive “WE PLAYED HERE” wall at the Bainbridge store. We will also place your CD in the digital local music listening station at our Poulsbo location for a full month.
We started as local musicians, had careers in the music biz, and we know the struggle!
Sorry to say playing the stage is not a paid gig. That’s why we offer the other perks above, and look for bands with product to sell. You can sell it at the stage and keep the profits, and or we can sell it inside the store. Put out a tip jar and take it all home!
