Local Artists: Wanna play on stage at The Ravine?
We are always looking for musicians to perform at The Ravine stage on Bainbridge Island as well as those who also have vinyl/CD/merchandise available.
On busy weekends, we can get more than 2000 people walking right past the stage right off the ferry from Seattle. Many are tourists on a day trip to Bainbridge, and they love the idea of discovering a local band and picking up a local souvenir of the active music scene here in Western Washington.
Come be that band, PLUS, if you play the stage on Bainbridge, you can add your band sticker to the new and exclusive “WE PLAYED HERE” wall at the store...
Many of our staff are or have been local musicians, and had long careers in the music biz, so we know the struggle!
We love local artists at both Rockin Rubys locations, we want to stock your vinyl, CD or cassette and promote them in the digital local music listening station at our Poulsbo location.
To show that love, we take only a dollar from each item sold (outside of sales tax collected) as minimal reimbursement for our expenses (when we ring up your material the government counts it as income).
Be aware that playing the Ravine as a local artists is a promo op, not a paid gig, but you are also encouraged to put out a tip jar, talk it up, and take every penny home from a wowed crowd...
